Hey Reader,
The cover reveal for Tempted by the Vampire Prince is coming to Kickstarter TOMORROW! And if you want to see it before anyone else, make sure you've signed up for campaign notifications!
BTW I just saw the hardcase mockup for the special edition, and my jaw is on the floor. Rena, the super talented cover artist, absolutely nailed this one. It's so delicate yet gothic at the same time.
Kickstarter Launch
The Kickstarter for the special edition of Tempted goes live on July 21st! I can't WAIT to show you all the special edition goodies. Include a spicy page overlay, and a digital guide that will be your one-stop-shop for the Sanguineverse!

Kacie aka @klsbooks3
Kacie is one of those street team members who is always there for me. Whether she is resharing one of my posts, engaging in the discord, or just DM'ing me a kind word of encouragement. It's readers like her that make this job so rewarding.
I could go on and on, but I'll let Kacie introduce herself:
Hi! I’m Kacie and I’m a massive fan of reading. I’ve been reading since I was a child and have only become more obsessed with living in a fictional world. I’m a mama to my beautiful little girl who is nearly 5 months old. I love making book friends and finding new recommendations!
FUN FACT: I can finish a book in one sitting.
(Before motherhood obviously😆)

The Biggest Game Changer for Outlining
If you're someone who doesn't like to outline books, or feels like structure hampers the creative process, I feel you. For years, I argued that I'd studied enough writing craft to understand how to put together a story and I didn't need all the pre-writing nonsense.
However, I am a process improvement girlie at heart, and I've changed my ways, thanks to a very good friend--and my book coach, Gala Russ.
When she drew K.M. Weiland's Story Structure on a circle and showed me how each point mirrors each other, I was blown away. A long, twelve page outline was not how my brain operated. But a single page circle? I'm all in.
Now, I create a story circle for each book I write and add too it as I go. Seeding hints like "Purple wax brigade" and "Yves coin" so that they show up in each act. It allows me to be flexible while creating a narrative that is satisfying to read and cuts down on edits later on.
TL;DR: Go follow Gala ASAP! She has a whole reel series dedicated to this method.
That's it for this month's newsletter. Stay tuned for more updates!
